  Graduated 2006 from Maidstone UCCA, where i built my 20×24″ monorail camera. I started working for the college as a technical tutor, whilst also working as an engineer in west end theaters. HaVE experienced work with photographers and also haVE competent technical experience / large format photography skills + Film processing / printing (colour and B&W) film scanning and some photoshop..

  I have worked freelance for various studios around the Manchester area, mainly based around advertising and catologue work. This has included working with a variety of photographers and stylists, and I have been keen with assisting and styling whilst in these jobs.

  Good knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and Capture One Also Nikon capture software for shooting tethered + Phase One tethered on location and Imacon backs tethered too.

  I have been involved with location work involving children’s outdoor funiture and toys over several days. Good organisation from myself with the selection of shots for the day and booking of models to ensure smooth running of the shoots.

  After finishing my degree in fashion promotion I have been part time assisting for a couple of years. I have also done an assisting course with direct lighting which I found to be very useful. I have worked with some great photographers who have taken me along to some great shoots and have taught me everything I know. I also work at Spring studio, so am used to hard work and long hours! Overall I am very determined, so will jump at the chance to work with a new photographer. I have a good sense of humour as well as being polite and friendly and will always make sure I am on time!

  I am a london based photographer looking to photo assist. I have studied photography at the university of plymouth, and i am currently applying to study an MA at Taik faculty of arts in Helsinki, Finland.
  I have a firm knowledge of both film and digital, i can film process and print (Colour and black and white).
  My equipment: Cannon Eos 5D, Hasselblad 500 ( i have used medium format 120 film for a long time now) Nikon Nikonas, Cannon AE1 (35mm). I have also used large format cameras, and have used phase one digital backs.
  I have a little knowledge of lighting, using various soft boxs in the studio.
  I am very used to using Photoshop CS3 and lightroom.
  I am very focused on geting my work out there, and i feel the experience of photo assisting would really benifit me.

  London based digital photographer, looking to build on experience by working as an assistant to professional photographers.

  I’ve recently graduated from Birmingham City University with a 1st class honours degree in media photography. Having assisted several photographers in my time studying, both on location and in the studio, in both the UK and Europe, I’ve developed my professional practice and have been found to be a valuable and hard working assistant.

  As a photographer in my own right, I’ve worked for a host of high profile clients including Graphico New Media/Bacardi and Urban Outfitters, producing digital web content for internet marketing campaigns. I work with Canon and Elinchrom equipment but have had experience with Bowens, Nikon, Mamiya and Contax kit. I’m also familiar with Photoshop and have basic skills in Capture One Pro.

  What I would like out of any experience would be to further my knowledge of studio competences and become more familiar with high end digital kit. I can offer a 100% work ethic and keen interest in learning more about this exciting industry.

  I am a mature student based in the West Midlands currently studying towards a BA Honours degree in Visual Communication at Birmingham City University. I wish to gain experience within the Commercial, Fashion & Portraiture areas of the industry and currently seeking possible employment and opportunities to assist professional working Photographers throughout the summer. I hold a full driving licence and therefore willing to travel.

  In 2005 I attended a part time Edexcel course on the basics of photography and pased with distinction. Passed a two year HND course 2008 with distinction grades in most areas. I then started studying towards a BA qualification.
  Throughout the courses which I have attended, I have managed to pick up various skills with different media types including digital and film. I also developed a good range of lighting and editing techniques. I am a very reliable and outgoing person with a keen attitude towards any given job.

  Although I have a lot of experience in the academic range I believe the only true learning experiences are to get out there and experience it for yourself and I have always jumped at opportunities that come my way.

  Whether it be in a hot stuffy studio, sitting in front of a computer, out in high winds and freezing temperatures, paddling about in horse poo or balancing on a jet boat in rapids with a case full of camera gear I’m always working in a professional manor. Im reliable, confident and enthusiastic with a constant outlook to further myself as an assistant and operator as well as being more involved with production and project research Being very socially aware means I can be relied upon to look after peoples needs and work alongside even the most difficult characters, Im not a social hand grenade!

  Although most of my experience has been with car photographers both on location and in the studio Europe-wide I have also worked with industrial, interior and portrait photographers and set builders. Im very well versed with tungsten and also use Profoto, Elinchrom, Broncolor and the Bron-Studio software. I have a solid understanding of Bridge, Lightroom and Photoshop as well as working with Hasselblad H2 and Phase backs. Although fairly new to it I also have a good understanding of Capture One Pro 3 & 4.

  I’m 33, a non-smoker and have a full drivers and motorcycle license and am an experienced very competent driver worldwide with lots of tracking and rig shot experience. I have a car and motorcycle so I can be in any location with ease. I’m an experienced and confident traveller and an easygoing companion when spending hours in close proximity with others day after day on location or in the studio.
